So step one is to assume in some alternate reality he would have won less game. 9-3 is still historically great for IU ... not that history means a single thing now ... but that's not CFP and no one is talking about it.
That is an interesting spin on the SEC hypothetical wins analysis.
But, I will grant you that I would find Cignetti less impressive if he had less success than he actually has had. So this round goes to you!
