Staying 2 nights at the famous Stanley Hotel and Estee Park. One night at the Hilton Inn across from the stadium in Fort Collins.Collins.Game time Saturday is 1:30. Depart for the airport immediately after. Wednesday through Saturday venue. Boys...The Stanley runs about 240.00 to 275.00 a night. This is a great bargin! Coach transportation everywhere. Plus, this is your chance to meet the gregarious Rupertflywheel and Mrs Flywheel.

Meet the Mrs? Awesome.

Meet you? Meh. :cool02:

Something tells me it wouldn't be wise to miss the first couple days of high school. Just a hint though

Let me give you a hint, young man. While you and your dad plan this trip, call the school and tell them you have been diagnosed with mononucleosis. (A hint from a grampa!!!)

(You can also brag to your buddies that you contracted the "kissing disease".)

And DO NOT TELL ANYONE ANYTHING ELSE!!!

GO GOPHERS!!!

Why did they plan it to leave immediately after the game? And how could anybody be excited about that? What if it goes into 11 over times?

I believe the Hilton is pretty much right across from the stadium. I'm sure you'll have a couple of hours before leaving for the airport. Been on Creative Charters before and they do a great trip.

I just don't understand why they wouldn't fly home on Sunday and let people enjoy the game and the evening after a win. I could understand if the game was on Sunday leaving right away. Leaving Saturday right after the game just doesn't make sense.

Keeps costs down which appeals to more folks.

I have nearly 60 road games under my belt and I can tell you when the game is over especially after a win, you want to leave. Even with a loss, there is nothing worse that getting up Sunday and blowing the day driving or hanging out at the airport. Just me I guess.

60 is impressive. Very impressive. I agree with what a buzzkill Sunday is as well - although that is only based on 10-12 trips [emoji3]

Wow 60 is something to strive for. Maybe its just because I'm young but I definitely just treat sunday as the built in travel day after saturday games. I would likely never book one of the charter trips anyway though. I don't like everything to be planned for me, I need some control and freedom. I mean, how many dispensaries is this charter trip planning on stopping at?

the stanley hotel is where they filmed the bar scene and the lambo scene for dumb and dumber.

Up until now.....I've been far too poor (as a college student) to afford to do something like this. This is almost way too tempting to pass up. I just need to find a traveling companion.

May want to ramp it up. Bookings going fast.

Glad they're finally offering a trip that is cheaper than their usual $1k/person standard. I'll still avoid Creative Charters as I'll be able to fly from Friday to Monday instead and avoid Estes Park (was just out there last Oct for a Wild-Avs hockey game)
