Good to see someone being honest and having it caught on film. Crean said nothing that any honest person wouldn't have said to a former worker who had hurt a company. Good for Crean.

I know a lot of people don't like Coach Crean but he's my favorite coach in the Big Ten.
It looks like Jeff Meyer is another one we can cross off Crean's secret "I think of you all the time" text list.
Go Gophers!!

Yes, being the main story after your team just cliched the Big Ten title is a great thing. Who wants people talking about the success of the players?
The difference in your example is that most people aren't on camera when they confront someone like this. It was something that wasn't necessary and was done at the wrong time.
I can't fault Crean for the emotions he had at that moment.
I'm pretty sure he wasn't paying attention to the camera's when he said this. He was in the moment and his team had just won the championship. He let out his emotion of leading a program back from the bottom because of misdeeds this other coach had done. It was an honest emotion of vindication that got caught on tape. I can't fault Crean for the emotions he had at that moment. If you continue to watch the video you see how well Crean treats Oladipo and the respect given between the two. In the 6 years at Minnesota, I've never seen Tubby relate like that to his players...ever. I'd take Crean, any day over what we currently have.
Well since u haven't seen it it definitely never happened. My god you're a tool. We aren't firing tubby today, it's the same rhetoric over and over and over out of you. Is this all you have in life? We fell apart, tubby doesn't know offense, tubby doesn't show enough emotion, etc etc etc how many times are you going to repeat the same *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!# over and over again? It's basketball, it's not life and death
Hey Saul, I'm sorry I spoke poorly of your dad.
Lol I don't know people are so pissed right now, enjoy the btt, if we make the NCAA tourney enjoy that, when the season is done enjoy the coaching search. Beating a dead horse constantly is mind numbing

You know what pissed Crean off? They guy being down on the floor celebrating with them...its an emotional moment, then you see a guy who damn near buried the program...it was a reaction. Why the hell would IU let the guy on the floor?
Ahhh
I did not know Meyer was not a part of Michigan team. I assumed he was there as part of the Michigan staff....
This is kind of different, I don't fault Crean as much if that guy was there as a spectator uninvited by IU and was on the floor.... I will reserve judgement for another time...
Crean's behavior the last couple years has really helped me understand why GW can't stomach him. GW must have got a close-up look at what Crean is all about. Crean is a self-congratulating p**ck who pats himself on the back any chance he gets. That kinda' surprises me considering he worked for Izzo at MSU. He's the "anti-Izzo".

And I was right. Meyer is an assistant at UM... Shouldn't let someone else's comment derail my obvious superior knowledge on the subject....
Meyer is a Michigan assistant, a simple smile would suffice Crean.... Back to thinking your a pompous a$$ although I do think you are a great coach.... Sometimes the go hand and hand I guess.
"Jeff and I discussed it afterwards. I'm not going to comment on another coach or another university. I will say Michigan is always going to win with class and lose with class," [Beilein]said. "I am really proud of the way Jeff showed great poise in the aftermath of that loss."
