Just browsing the ESPN.com website and came across a flashback game with the headline “NW’s Miracle in Minnesota.” It shows NW’s last second Hail Mary win in 2000 at the Metrodome. That was a precursor of all the subsequent last second losses we would endure under Grinning Glen.
There is also a second article discussing comments made by U of M Regent Hsu about how he said that there will be no fall classes and no fall sports and that Power 5 conferences will move away from the NCAA. Pretty controversial remarks. Anyway, the U’s Regent’s chair, Ken Powell, had to distance the U from Hsu’s remarks. I hadn’t heard about this controversy, but thought it was interesting.
