Connor Cosgrove, a redshirt walk-on (from St. Cloud State) WR and the son of DC Kevin Cosgrove, was diagnosed yesterday with acute leukemia. In his post-practice interview yesterday, Tim Brewster looked visibly shaken, but handled it with class and a remarkable amount of positivity, given the circumstances.

Now is the time for all of us--pro-Brewster or not--to put a lid on all the negativity and talk of firing and rally behind this coaching staff and team with positive thoughts, prayers, and comments. Think of this: how huge would a win over USC--one featuring a stellar performance by the D--mean to the Cosgrove family?

Some things in life matter more than wins and losses. Let's keep our perspective straight and do our part to support a suffering family and team.

There is a lot of adversity around our program right now, some more important than others. It truly is time to pull together as fans and support the program.
