Point taken (on Walker). That would be a darn nice guard tandem for Calhoun.
He would play with Kemba Walker not behind.
UNLV is definite token team on his list. I hope he comes here but I am realistic it will be tough you have 3 top programs with 3 top coaches.
To me on the surface Villanove would be the choice. Jay Wright can coach and his guards always produce. Scottie Reynolds is done. Nova makes sense.
Yes, it has been to me. I will be the first one to be optimistic, but in this case it just doesn't make any sense. As an example, I was totally optimistic on the recruitment of Marquieis Gray and Michael Carter. There wasn't a feeling that these guys were going another place at all.
I don't have any inside information. But unfortunately reading into the recruitment of Cory Joseph I find it hard to believe he will sign here.
Just stop and think about it for five minutes.....really think about it deep down and you know the conclusion that will happen. Be honest with yourself. This is a situation where the brother plays for the school, and he hasn't committed yet? Doesn''t seem like good odds IMO. Usually family gets a commit to sign or verbal earlier in the process. That combined with the fact that all the unsigned top guys are PGs - for the very reason that they are waiting for the dominos to fall - means that there is a slim (albeit a chance, sure) chance he will sign here. I would love to believe he will be here and I would love to be wrong - but I'm not some naive 21-year-old college student.
All the signs are pointing to him signing elsewhere.
It could be as simple as Cory just simply wanted to focus on the season and not distract from his play, or maybe he knows he is going to Minnesota to play with his brother but wants the attention and the press so he can build his profile and exposure. You can't determine Minnesota is out because it doesn't make sense to you, you do not have all the information or understand the entire process.
I thought Nova guards would produce in the tourney so I picked them to go to the championship game.
They sure did not produce this past March!
Other than that, I tend to agree with you. Nova makes the most sense to me but the ultimate question is this, "Does Cory want to play college ball with Devoe?"
I hope for the best. As someone else has mentioned, the Devoe "signing" was all about Texas until Devoe said "Minnesota"!
Go Gophers.

Really? Well y'all sure did get anxious about him going to Texas for nothing seeing as how Texas never even offered Devoe. This talk of Devoe choosing Minnesota over Texas is all BS. He never had the choice to go to Texas.
Besides, the point remains the same: no one thought Devoe was going to pick Minnesota until he actually did. It should come as no surprise if Cory picks Minnesota. There would be a lot of good reasons to do so, starting with the fact that we have one of the best coaches in the country, we often run a 3 guard offense in which he'd start, we're going to have a good team, he'd play with his brother, and he'd be close to home (at least, closer than most of the other schools he's considering).

Okay, buddy. I'm sure Myron knows that he will commit to the U but is not saying anything out of some sort of pre-determined agreement. You keep telling yourself that. Honestly dude, even Johnny Gopher has all but given up on Cory. Just move on with your life.

From a review of the first 2 pages of posts on this thread, the original poster is owed about 25 apologies. Some even demanded the moderators remove this thread. Hilarious.
This thread is PRECISELY why internet forums exist. If you don't like rumors and anonymous opinions, you are in the wrong place folks.
People here can hardly handle the truth. They think Tubby is a God and programs like Nova and Texas are nothing compared to our basketball program with him as coach. Maybe this will bring people back down to earth.
How quickly we forget the gophers last year recruiting class number 10 on ESPN. (Nova at 7, Texas at 2) id say finishing top 10 in the nation in recruiting class might mean you are starting to gain notiriaty ... (now we just need those recruits to play)
Again, just cuz cojo didnt come here, stop acting like all is lost, woe is us, no one likes us, we suck, we hate devoe, blah blah blah. id love to do a tally of all the 5 star recruits that have said, thanks, but no thanks, to duke, kansas, kentucky, etc etc etc much sooner than cory said it to the gophers. so chill, stop acting like the gopher basketball program revolves around cory joseph.
