Conrad - 1st Ave Stage Mgr Legend / RIP

It's really odd to call a stage manager a music legend but that's exactly what he was. Only got to meet him briefly years ago when a friend of mine was dating him. Was cool since he wasn't working that none of the gruffness was there.

Also really sweet a few years ago when Run Westy Run was playing mortimers and they brought him and his sisters up on stage for the birthday and sang the Swedish birthday song to him.

When I started to go to shows at 1st Ave, I was restricted to All Ages events. Conrad definitely appeared "gruff", especially to youths.

Seemed to have a softer persona at 21+ shows.
