Maxx Williams has been named a Capital One Academic All-American. He is Minnesota’s first Academic All-American since Greg Eslinger and Mark Losli earned second-team honors in 2005, and the first Academic All-America First Team selection since Justin Conzemius in 1994.

Atta boy Dos Equis. I love it when we have successful producers on the field who also excel in the classroom. Hopefully Maxx's teammates can see him as a good example that you don't have to choose between working hard at football and working hard at school.
