It's tough to say but Texas simply outplayed us in the second half. We played poorly on the defensive side and letting Abrams get on fire certainly didn't help our cause. The match up that really killed us was Sampson and Iverson on Pittman. They just don't have the size yet to guard someone like that. Texas did pretty much exactly what they wanted to. They got Abrams open looks from beyond the arc, let James play all over, and fed the ball down low to Pittman.

They just completely took over the game in crunch time. Abrams could not be stopped, and as stated, Pittman was a beast inside. If they can get Abrams some open looks they will be a tough out for Duke on Saturday. Hopefully our boys gain a lot from this experience.
