What an incredible achievement!! For Adam Weber to surpass the 10,000 yard career mark for passing yardage as a Gopher QB, I offer my heartiest congratulations to him.
As a fellow Minnesotan, I'm both very impressed and proud of what he has accomplished.
Even more amazing is the way in which he has conducted himself, both on and off the field, over the past 5 years. Always humble, always classy, always articulate, always deflecting praise to players and coaches around him...
And unfortunately, always having to take a big bite out of that enormous $#!T sandwich he has been served since his redshirt freshman season at the 'U'....whether it's all the booing from the student section, or getting ripped on line, or the steady stream of offensive coordinators and ever-changing playbooks and coaching philosophies he's had to deal with.
"Let's spread it out...no, I mean...let's pound the rock...no, I mean let's do this...no, I mean let's do that..."
In a few years, when the passage of enough time softens the harsh, local criticism that has been directed at Weber, we will all be proud to see him being introduced in the starting line-up on Monday Night Football..."ADAM WEBER, Quarterback, UNIVERSITY of MINNESOTA"...
