Conference realignment: Rose Bowl officials say USC, UCLA defections to Big Ten were 'unexpected'

Contrary to what the media has been saying, the Pac12 seems to be in a much better position to lure Big12 teams than the reverse.

The problem is that The Big12 doesn’t really have a single brand worth it to the Pac12. But what would be in the overall best interest of the current members is to hold their nose and take the first 2 schools among OK State, KS State, KS, IA State, TX Tech, Baylor, BYU, and TCU that are willing to make to move. The rest will follow.

The champion of a 24 team “PAC 12”conference that spans from Seattle to Florida could still be a great Rose Bowl opponent for the Big Ten.

It'd make for a really bad tv contract.

I mean, Oregon and Washington are still pretty good football programs.

The only two from the PAC, including USC and UCLA, to make the CFP since it started.
