Gophers at the State Fair

See the Gopher Men's Basketball team and head coach, Tubby Smith, at the State Fair on Monday, August 30. The team will be highlighted on the Minnesota Gopher stage at the University of Minnesota booth from 1 – 2 p.m. The stage is located near the corner of Underwood Street and Dan Patch Avenue.

They list South Dakota State as Wednesday, December 23. Only problem there is December 23rd is a Thursday. For those who want total clarity, the game will be played THURSDAY, DECEMBER 23RD.

They list @ Wisconsin as Tuesday, December 29. Only problem there is December 29th is a Wednesday. For those who want accuracy, the game will be played TUESDAY, DECEMBER 28TH.

I'm sure there are other screw-ups, but I'm not going to edit any more of their shoddy work.

First thoughts on the schedule? We'll find out right away if the Gophers are capable of handling difficult environments. Is there anyone here who wouldn't accept a split @ Bucky & Sparty to open the season?

I was just studying the schedule again...getting ready for the season. I still cannot get past the part where we open BT play on the road against Wisky, MSU and OSU for 3 of the first 4 games. That is crazy..almost unfair. Hopefully the Gophs handle the early tough schedule better than the purple did.
