College Football Pet Peeves

Seems the SEC is a Pet Peeve for some people on here.
Haha. So I guess I need to throw my $0.02 in.

1. 11:30 Kickoffs
2. Preseason Rankings
3. ESPN's biased love with ND and USC

1) When posters express the term "two cents" as $0.02
2) When Bankonit and his like-minded cronies come on the board and make the argument that Brewster is developing into a good coach
3) When posters try a little too hard to sound smarter than they actually are
4) When posters sound way too confident about subjects that they are not experts in
5) When posters try to be funny, witty, clever, etc. in every post they write
6) When posters quote an entire 500 word post, but are only responding to a sentence or two of it
7) When posters act as if their 2,000+ post count makes them the authority figure on every matter
8) When posters play semantics and neglect the actual point of another's post
9) When posters express a matter of opinion as a fact
10) When someone starts a thread by saying, "I'm sorry if this was already posted, but I couldn't find a thread.." and the next poster smugly states that there's already been multiple threads on this anyways
11) When posters quote every word Maturi says on record for an interview and then create a long post about why he stinks at his job

As for the actual college football season, I really dislike the people who don't watch a game in September or October and then come November they start acting as if a playoff would save college football. Other than that, no beefs.

The NCAA shortening games by changing the clock rules to appease networks when in fact it is television commercials - and not the rules - that generated the 4+ hour games.

"that's another Golden Gopher.........First Down" after every single first down in the game.

Hate 'Rah' over the PA at the end of the rouser.

I have a proposal, try to educate the student section that they are supposed to shout 'Rah' at the end of the rouser. Then do it for one more year. If nobody is saying it at the end of the year, never say it again!!
