College Basketball 2021-2022 Thread

Nebraska has pretty much lead in each of the last overtimes, but NC State has always been able to tie it. This is the first OT where NC State got the lead. They are up by 3 with the ball now. I think this will do it. Now Nebby is down by 5 with 46 seconds left. 95-100.
Same I have been watching. Huskers have some talent and depth but dont play with much discipline and actually tonight they looked better than so far this season.

Rough night for the Big Ten. Nebraska, Penn State, and Maryland had second half leads and all of them lost. Big Ten still hangs on for the 8-6 win over the ACC.

Not much on tap today as far as really good match ups.
Tre Williams and the Beavers take on Cal
The Tommies play host to hated Crown College
Lamar At Mississippi State
Seeing 13 teams left without a blemish.

Gabe and Brandon leave a school that's without a loss to go play for teams without a loss. Go figure.

Shocking that TV Teddy was reffing the Nebraska/NCState game.

I hope he got enough air time.

One interesting team is the 8-0 San Francisco Dons. They have 8 players on their roster that hail from another country. Three get around 25 minutes a game and another around 10
Haven't seen them play yet. They replaced St Bonaventure as my little darling school, since the Bonnies lost.

Mississippi State up on Lamar by 18 with about 7 minutes left
Final 75-60
Smith 14 pts, 11 rebounds
Brooks 10 pts, 9 rebounds
Molina 17 pts
Rocket Watts with 15 off the bench

I think it would be pretty cool to see the WCC get 4 teams to the tourney. It could happen this year with the ACC and Pac-12 struggling.

Tre Williams got his first start tonight for Oregon State. The Beavers lose their 7th straight in their PAC 12 opener against Cal 73-61 and Tre goes scoreless.

Sounds like fair weather fandom to me.

Pitt chokes a 4 point lead in the final 10 seconds and loses by 1 again.

Big Ten teams in action today

Nebraska @ Indiana
Marquette @ wisconsin
San Diego St @ Michigan
Toledo @ Michigan State

You’d think UVA’s coach just unexpectedly retired or something.
What for ! They just won the ACC last year and lost three guys to the pros with elgibility left. They are not good this year but it is about growth and combining them with next years knock out class. They can not simply reload like a blue blood. They have to eye a certain kind of kid and develop them. It will seem pretty rough at times this year.

Chet and Gonzaga get upset tonight. They were getting beat down.

Bout the only time I'd root for Bama. Good win in Seattle.
On a side note, that new stadium has me thinking the twolves will be moving to the Northwest.
Moving an NBA team is not nearly as profitable as expansion. They can add two teams, charge $600+ million per each. Owners of current teams split $1.2. $40 mil cash and you add revenue in new markets.

With 1 foul, Chet sat from the time I tuned in with about 5 minutes left until the end of the game.

For a guy who’s dad says he won’t go someplace to play center, even if if he is 7’, he sure plays a lot of center.

Kerwin Walton and Dawson Garcia lead UNC to their first Acc win combining for 20 minutes and 2 points. Bring them home Ben!!!

Gach leads utah with 19 points for the win over California. Gabe Madsen scoreless in 14 minutes off the bench, must have been injured before?
