Collado returning punts

Understandable, but calling for a fair catch inside your own 20 like it seems like he did a lot didn't help an offense that didn't have many sustained drives last year.
Maybe I'm just used to the Bears' returners taking it to the house against the Vikes :)

Allen rarely had room to run last year. It was dissapointing because he usually had some nice returns when he was able to run.

Anytime you have to go to a backup punt returner, I think you want someone who is poised and will actually catch the ball. Any significant return yardage is a bonus. To me, Collado is a guy who will be poised and if he has any doubts will get his hand up for the fair catch.

When was the last time we actually had a punt returned for a TD? Or a kickoff for that matter? The last few years our kick return game has been decent in terms of field position, but I don't recall taking any to the house...

TS has had some opportunities on kick returns but he seems to have an issue making the last guy miss. In any case, I'll take the good field position, especially if we have a running game to go with it finally.
