I've been to concerts/shows where they force you to put your phone in a locked/sealed bag, then at the end of it they unlock it for you.

Such a thing would've prevented this absurd episode.

But unless the artist specifically wants that for whatever reason, they have little incentive to require it at their shows, when these days taking videos of an event is almost more important than putting your damn phone down and actually living it.
