Turner isn't fast, but he's not slow either. His combine vertical jump was 34.5.

Fair enough on the the vertical- he's a slow 2 footed jumper, but that's solid.

He is very slow and deliberate though. Great ball skills for his size, but relied on bully ball spin moves to dominate at the college level and that was never going to work in the NBA.

Let's put it this way- Amir has had more explosive dunks in 1.5 college seasons than Evan Turner has had, ever.

I know these aren't NBA dunk contest level, but impressive enough to challenge your dunk comment about the two. Again, you're taking about a guy who was taken number 2 overall in the draft and the POY in College his Junior season (not to mention the many other accolades). Coffey is athletic, but you've got some blinders on if you think more so than Turner.

I have to wait and see. If it means getting more height and length for defending the perimeter I'm all for it
