Justin Cobbs to Transfer from Minnesota



The University of Minnesota basketball program and head coach Tubby Smith announced today that freshman Justin Cobbs has decided to transfer from Minnesota to be closer to his home in Los Angeles.



“We appreciate everything that Justin gave to the University of Minnesota, both on and off the court this past year,” said Smith. “We wish him the best of luck.”



Cobbs played in 34 of the teams 35 games in his freshman campaign, finishing with averages of 2.1 points, 1.3 assists and 10.7 minutes per game.
