If we get 10 inches of snow tonight/tomorrow and with the Holiday on Thursday, it really only gives us 1 day to clear snow from the seats. With the students being on break, a readily accessible workforce that will work for cheap is not available. I'm REALLY hoping this isn't an issue and the powers that be already have a solid plan.

Have we ever had to clear snow from the stadium for a Gopher game? I know they did it a few times when the Vikings were here (and when the Dome collapsed). How long does it typically take and what is the workforce required?

And 3-5 inches of more snow forecast on Friday night into Saturday morning per Weather.com. I'm sure that'll change three times between now and then, but this could be interesting.

My plan is to leave Duluth early Saturday morning for the game. I really don't want to have to leave on Friday.

I'm sure the plan is already set in place. They'll put out a call for volunteers Thursday night.

What would be cool and I would be there is too have volunteers do this Friday afternoon/night. Students and those with a game ticket. I would totally be there and then stumble down to Stubs for a warmer. That would be cool and I think the team, if they saw that would get pumped for us!

We are supposed to be taking our Gopher Loyalty Points tour of TCF Bank Stadium Friday night...I wonder if they will make us shovel?

How about that, actually have a plan in place. Nice work!

Grab an oar (shovel) and get to work. If we all row (shovel) at the same speed in the same direction it will speed it up or something.
Gonna go tomorrow to register to shovel in the AM. Then use the money I earn to buy beers at the game. Win-win-drunk.

PJF said the team would be practicing in the snow tomorrow and he was assured the snow would be cleared for the team.
