Chris Monter: Seven-Foot-1 Carson Shanks Sees Interest Rise

Carson Shanks, a 7-foot-1, 225-pound sophomore center from Prior Lake (MN) High, is one of the top big men in the state in the class of 2014. Shanks attracted his first scholarship offer from Northern Iowa this weekend and recently talked to GopherHole.com about his recruitment and expectations for this season.

Shanks a soph (2013) in high school at Prior Lake. He's sitting out after transferring from Eastview. Incidentally, Shanks received an offer from UNI this weekend according to Ryan James.
