Chris Monter Q&A: Eastview Forward Joey King Off To Strong Spring Start

Joey King, a 6-foot-8 junior forward from Eastview (MN) High, is off to a strong spring as a member of the Minnesota Southside AAU program. King, who is one of the state top players in the Class of 2012, helped lead the Lightning to a 22-5 mark and a South Suburban Conference title. GopherHole.com caught up with King to learn the latest on his recruitment and his summer plans.

JK: We played in Kansas City and then we are playing in Iowa. I am playing with my high school team for a couple of weeks and then we are heading to Chicago, Indianapolis, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Even after reading numerous interviews and seeing where the kids play, I'm always blown away at the distant tournaments these kids get to attend.
