Andre McDonald, a 6-foot-3 junior wide receiver was the lone junior to be named as an Associated Press All-State first team offensive selection. McDonald, who also plays basketball for the Class 4A #1 ranked Royals, is one of the top recruits in the Class of 2012. GopherHole.com recently caught up with McDonald to learn the latest on his recruitment and his expectations for his senior season.

It's shaping up to be a pretty good year in the state of MN. I am sure I am missing some people but:

McDonald - WR - Hopkins
Nick Rallis - LB - Edina
Jon Harden - DT - Cretin
Karmichael Dunbar - DT - Prior Lake (will get a lot of offers, he is a very good FB player. Karl Dunbar's kid)
Kendrick Brewster - RB - Cretin
Mollberg - QB - Detroit Lakes (possibly)
Nelson - QB - Mankato West
Andrew Larson - EP - DB (track guy who is pretty fast and will have good size for a DB)
The enormous tackle from Hill Murray (name escapes me), but he is something like 6'8" 325 lbs, and i've heard he is a legit D1 prospect but a PROJECT
Nick Carr - OT - Totino Grace
Chase Roullier - OT - Burnsville
Ryan Dahl -OT-Holy Family - - - he would probably have to improve a lot, but he is also 6'8" 290 lbs and a PROJECT
There are others too, a couple good LBs (kid from Wayzata, kid from Mahtomedi) a couple possible DBs and a couple other DTs.

I wouldn't be shocked at all to see the U sign more kids than they have in a long time from MN next season.
