Chris Monter: Joe Bjorklund Goes From After-Thought To Greyshirt

Joe Bjorklund, a 6-foot-6, 285-pound offensive tackle from Rosemount (MN) High, has committed to Minnesota as a greyshirt candidate. Bjorklund, who is one of the top linemen in the state, helped lead the Irish to a 12-1 mark as they lost to Wayzata 31-14 in the Class 5A Prep Bowl. I hope we are able to kick the snot out of Iowa and MSU for him at some point. Feel bad for kids that get interest and are told basically they are plan B, C, or D and have to wait. Seems that Kill has been straight forward and told him exactly what the Gophers could do for him.
