Hole Reader departed in his 2001 Audi Sunday morning...Hole Reader stopped in Chattenooga, TN Sunday night and drove the rest of the way yesterday arriving at 8:00 PM. (with agony traffic through Atlanta). After checking into hotel and grooming Hole Reader went downtown...plenty of night life especially with the Oklahoma/Clemson game. Hole Reader found a good bar...The Avenue...the manager of which is from Rochester, MN - he pointed this out after seeing Hole Readers gopher cap. The manager said he would be happy for the Avenue to be "Gopher Bar" for the week..After several beers Hole Reader went accross the street and mozied into another bar whaich was a Clemson bar full of several atractive Clemson omen..had good conversation with several Clemson fans who are fully "on board" with a Gopher victory. The second bar was also very accomodating with respect to being a Gopher bar. I think the combination of "the avenue" and the bar across the street would be a fine base for the Gopher fan amobea. Hole Reader took a cab back to hotel at a very late hour.
Hole Reader believes based on a limited sample that Clemson babes are hotter than Oklahoma babes. If anyone has a Gopher flag either bar said they wld hang it out front for us
Hole Reader arose today and played 36 holes of golf at Metro West Golf Club....a fine course which is a very good test of golf...reasonable green fee $45 for 18 holes and $25 for a replay round. Hole reader will be playing 36 holes of golf again tomorrow.
Tonight Hole Reader will venture back into "the jungle" starting at "the avenue" as a base point and moving on from there. Hole reader would appreciate any and all mechanic references between here and Minneapolis. His Audi does not seem to be enjoying the trip.
