Depth add? 28% from 3 and 70% from the stripe doesn’t seem great.
Is that all he's allowed to do is shoot 3's and FT's?

All-Mac 2nd team guard, led the entire MAC in PPG AND Assists per game. 23rd in the entire country in assists per game to be exact. 5th in the MAC in steals as well.

There's more to basketball than shooting 3's

Yeah, kid looks like a really solid pickup but of course there will always be those online that will immediately look for the negative angle.

The game is so focused on the 3 point line right now that I do think some fans forget that you can still be a good player even if you are not a great 3 point shooter. There are lots of other ways to make an impact on a game besides launching 3s.

Also while 72% isn't an incredible FT % it hardly makes him a liability at the line.

like driving to the hoop, drawing the defense towards you, and ultimately kicking the ball out to a WIDE OPEN Bobby Durkin for his 6th 3PM of the game because you're a top 25 assist man in the country.

Then when the defense bites on Durkin, the lane gets more open for lobs to Langston (Ant Man) Reynolds.

I also think the Gophers identify a couple spot up shooters yet, that are around 35% or 40%. I still want Jadin Booth (D2 guy), and a guy who is NOT tied to us at all, named Alvaro Folgueiras. Dude fits the Niko mold lol, 41% 3 point shooter, 6'9, looks like 2 years left.

I also like his defensive potential, I like the 1.7 steals per game. We rarely have even 2 players average over a steal per game. Currently the favorite to lead the team in scoring over Reynolds and Durkin?

Yeah, anything over 70% is decent, over 80% is really good and if a kid is in the 90% range he is exceptional at the line. But anyone hitting at least 70% can be in a game late without being a liability for sure.

He looks like a solid all around player - definitely fills up the stat sheet (assists, rebounds, steals).
