Championship Weekend: Discussion Thread

How many Mitch Leidner's does Cardale Jones cost? Where do I buy one? Asking for Jer... a friend.

Seriously. No drop off after losing 2 all american QB's. Ridiculous.

Tax Slayer bowl, january 1st in Florida. Not bad for the Gophers. but I still see us in
the Outback. We win head to head with nebby, Pelini sh*t canned...it would be
criminal if they jumped us just because they had an easier schedule..

Kansas St. is hanging in there, down just 7.

I would be okay with OSU putting 60+ on WI. OSU may get left out of the playoffs but they are absolutely one of the top four teams right now.

The triple option will never be boring.

When it is run well, i'd rather watch that style of football any day over this no huddle passing crap like Oregon and others.

Does Wisconsin have any fans at the game? Its seems like 80/20 OSU.

Go Gophers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm at the game and that's about right. It's one third Wisconsin fans at most, I would have said 75% Ohio State, 24% Wisconsin, and 1% Minnesota :)

My schadenfreude cannot be contained right now. This is glorious.

I'm now actually starting to become embarrassed that we lost to Wisconsin. Like many people have said before, we were probably the best team they had faced and now OSU is the best team they have faced and they can't score.

Cardale Jones was a 3-star QB who's other official visit was to Toledo. He did have offers from Michigan, Penn St., Iowa and Illinois as well.

Wisconsucks big time. This is so fantastic. It is like a holiday. Watching the red slime go down is absolutely fabulous.

Yeah but in today's college football you just can't really compare games from week to week. And momentum is such a key thing. I really believe we would have won last week if we didn't have that breakdown on the long pass play late in the 2nd quarter. We had all the momentum and were up 14 at the time. That was a game changer.

Did you see that OSU just twist Gordon's ankle on that last tackle? So dirty!

Can we start a thread listing things that lasted longer than Melvin's Heisman hopes? I have the count at 4 weeks starting after he broke the record when he really became a contender.

There's something wrong in the universe when one college has three QBs who are probably in the top five in the conference. I know it's early for Jones, but what a debut as a starter.

Their future (freshmen next year) 4th string, Joe Burrow, had offers from Cincinnati, Maryland, Iowa St, and Minnesota.

That's just incredible. Our 4th string was probably washing dishes 4 months ago.

That rule is so stupid. He led with the shoulder, and he made sure it was his shoulder. His body was turned all the way to the side.

It really won't matter but it is still stupid.
