Funny "pro-Baylor" sign from GameDay:

Yeah, I caught that too.

Yes, we'd likely get it back with a Missouri win regardless of what happens in the Wisconsin/OSU game.

A Wisconsin win just makes it more likely that the Gophers are the team to play in it. Missouri winning is a must though.

Thank you. Much appreciated.

Watching the TCU game and the announcers are saying how many players TCU will bring back next year. I think they said they only lose 3 starters. Boykin, their RB's, all WR's but one, their entire offensive line will be back. Just wondering what their ranking will be going into next year and the first game of the year. No doubt they'll be top 5 IMO.

They're going to be very good again next year. They should be pre season top 5 pending major blowouts in the bowl game or semi-final. If they get to the championship game they could even be top 3.

Looking forward to that game but a #3 team playing for a conference championship and their stadium is two thirds full. Yikes !!!

As much as I hate the SEC hype. I'm really looking forward to the SEC championship game. I guess I don't hate them as much as I thought.

Or maybe I'm just really excited to see Alabama lose.

what is wrong with TCU. How can you not sell out your last home game when your rated third in the country.

And it's a tiny stadium too. About 45,000.

Granted their enrollment is really tiny, so I'm not even sure how deep their fanbase goes. I imagine life is tough when you're a small school in a state with 12 D1 programs. It'll be interesting to see how they travel.

Really, the more I think about it. The more incredible it is that TCU might be playing for a national championship with Alabama or Oregon in football. It's the ultimate underdog story.

And we have still held TCU to their lowest point total of the season. Now imagine if we hadn't completely shot ourselves in the foot with the ridiculous 5 turnovers in our own end of the field and gave them that starting position most of the day. Don't get me wrong, TCU is a really good team, but I have often felt we beat ourselves more that day than TCU actually beat us. Just a thought.

I just hope Kansas State whoops up on Baylor so there is no controversy.

I'd go back just for the girls in sun dresses and cowboy boots.

Ah yes, the TCU Showgirls (and yes, that really is the name even in today's PC world).

On a side note tonight, outside of their fans, who on earth is going to watch Tulane v Temple on ESPN2? You have the Big 10 and ACC championship games plus Baylor v K-State. Why wouldn't ESPN2 show something other than football? I'd venture to guess championship ping-pong would grab more viewers than Temple/Tulane.

I also wonder why the Baylor-K State game wasn't played at 11am. I know the night time slot is much better but you're competing with two big conference championships. If they were at 11am instead of the TCU, I would think their ratings would have been better.

So is Missouri just gonna pee their pants for the entire game? Are they going to gain 100 yards?

Oh my, I just googled the showgirls. My new favorite non-secular school.

That's a wonderful name. I like TCU even more now.

TCU downplays the Christian in their school name, they rarely use Texas Christian U anymore. Baylor has much closer ties to the Baptist church (but Aggie has certainly pointed out their phoniness in other posts). Three cheers for the showgirls!

For the love of all things. Get. A. First. Down.

Alabama is going to dominate. Shane Ray will be out for targeting.

I dunno about anyone else but I am not impressed with this game. Alabamas offense is pretty good but their defense has holes in it, Missouri isn't exploiting them. The announcers of course are acting like they are watching the super bowl.

I can't believe I'm doing this but NDSU-SDSU is the best game on right now on ESPN3. Go Jackrabbits. Tie game in the 4th quarter.

I thought they were going to not bother playing that game and just give NDSU the win after Herd showed the officials NDSU's Sagarin ratings.

So have we concluded that Wisconsin winning tonight is the best outcome as far as the Gophers getting to a better bowl game? I'm no expert but my best guess is Outback if Wisconsin wins and Holiday if OSU wins. It'll be tough cheering for them tonight if that's the case but I'll accept it.

It would be a moot point if Missouri could somehow win this game.

I was gonna say that if you can't score from the 1, you probably don't deserve to be in the ball game, but they did it on the 4th try.

And you had to break the rules to do it, but we'll ignore that.

How does Alabama get that kick off?
