Chambliss Denied Sixth Year of Eligibility

It is weird to me how you basically get denied by the NCAA then you just go to your state court where you get a judge who is probably an alumni and rubber stamps it through.

Once again I am asking why the NCAA even exists
It is a valid question in terms of football and men's basketball. Feels like anytime the NCAA tries to step in and do anything to curtail the stupidity it just gets shot down in court.

I'm sure this latest ruling will set off a wave of players trying to get medical redshirts after the fact for any year they weren't good enough to get on the field. I'm sure Pavia is already trying to figure out a way to use this to get another year somehow. :)

This also happened…

I couldn't remember where/when he was an NFL head coach so I looked up his Wiki. I'm not sure there's ever been a more clear example of someone editing their own Wiki:

"At age 39 as a rookie head coach in 2020, Judge inherited a rebuilding Giants roster and navigated the team through a pandemic, the ripples of social unrest and a Week 2 season ending injury to star running back Saquon Barkley[15] to post a 6-10 record and finish just shy of a playoff berth."

That's a lot of words to say you lost 10 games.

If he had filed for a waiver back in 2022 this wouldn't be an issue. This is like if I go to a restaurant I ate at 4 years ago and complain that the meal then was bad so now I should get a refund.

Pavia had a cough from vaping his freshmen year at New Mexico State so he should get another year

You've never used the McKenzie brothers "mouse in a beer bottle" scheme to try to score free beer?
