Yes, I know that but the quote you posted implied that he was an UDFA this year. At least that's how I read it.

In recent years I have not followed the Vikings closely, did he make the team last year? Regardless, I hope he makes it this year as it would be great to have some ex Gophers on the Vikings roster.
