Per CBS:

Minnesota -- Minnesota: Keep an eye on St. Thomas, which is off to a strong start early in its FCS tenure. But P.J. Fleck would have to row Minnesota's boat over a waterfall for the Gophers to lose their state crown.

Go Gophers!!

Surprised they have Montana over Montana State

I always think these types of lists are kind of pointless when they includes states with just a single FBS team. Obviously Minnesota is going to be the best, so what's the point? It's the same with Wisconsin.

They bring up St. Thomas, but it's obviously not going to be the best team talent-wise/statistically. If they wanted to add some color to the commentary they could bring up teams from other levels in the state expected to have the most success, like UMD being No. 1 in their conference poll. But if not, why even include them?

Is UMD picked to win the conference?

Seems like one of the lists BigGameBoomer or whatever would come up with in years past.
