CBS: Picking the best college football team in each state entering 2015 (MN: Gophers)

We might be the best team, but didn't I read here MSU-Mankato had the best QB?

If this was relative to the division that a team plays in and the eventual national level of success...would the U of MN still be the best team in the State for their division?

I don't pay much attention to DII or DIII so I don't know which teams in MN are dominant in those divisions. Anyone think that a team like MSU-Mankato will finish higher in the DII rankings than the Gophers will at the DI ranks?

Yeah, UMD and Kato both were in the top 3 in the nation at the end of last season.

Good thing Fargo is west of the Red River. :) Sorry, couldn't resist.
