CBS: Freshman ineligibility? NCAA commissioners at least considering it

You're being obtuse.

Many of these guys are in rocks for jocks first semester. Second semester they don't even need to go to class. You know this. Don't be a troll.

Telling ANYONE on GH to not be a troll is like telling a rat to not be a rat. Sheesh.

...and help the game become nearly unwatchable.

What I see isn't unwatchable...or if it is, it's not because of one-and-dones.

I have a hard time working up a lot of indignity about the one-and-done phenomenon. College BB has bigger problems they could be solving instead of chasing this red herring.

I'm neither obtuse nor trolling. I don't pretend to be an expert of areas in which I have no first-hand knowledge, like you and many others do here. You read something somewhere that's fourth- or fifth-hand (at best) by the time it gets reported, and pretend as though it's Gospel truth. You have absolutely no idea, and don't pretend that you do.

STrib: Big Ten's idea about freshmen ineligibility? "I don't see it," Pitino says

Time will tell what we happen with the Big Ten's most recent idea (reported by ESPN) to make freshmen ineligible in football and basketball, but Minnesota coach Richard Pitino, for one, isn't a fan.

"Maybe there are going to be some guys that aren't ready," he said. "But I don't see it. I don't understand it."
