That's a professional cut and anyone that's tried to cut patterns into their lawn knows how tedious a process that can be. We salute you, Auburn grounds crew, who out of either boredom or spring excitement decided to give the field a jazzy plaid pattern.

Very cool and especially fun since I was talking it up with a couple of diehard Auburn fans this past week who were ladies that for sure we're in their late 60's and probably 70's. They sure knew their football!
 

OK, maybe I'm the only one that thinks it's fugly.
 





In a related press release, Auburn University announces their new nickname is the Auburn Tartans, because our new field design brings out the Scottish in everyone.
