Carter Coughlin's emotional post-game interview on the field (video)

All class, all the time. One of the most impactful gopher players from a leadership perspective ever. Hopefully has a long and fufilling NFL career, if he makes it more than a few seasons I would wager he will be the youngest player ever nominated by his team for the Walter Payton award.

He clearly is the type of guy you want on your team. Going be fun to see where he goes and watch his NFL career.

Beating Auburn in a New Years Day bowl game yesterday is the culmination of a long process that Carter Coughlin started the day he enthusiastically committed to be a Gopher and pledged to help recruit other players he knew from Minnesota and around the country. During all the difficult times and coaching changes he remained a determined and positive team leader who always gave his best and who represented the Gophers and the State of Minnesota with class and dignity. I rate Carter's Gopher career a 10 out 10.

QFT. Can't say it any better than this. GL in the NFL, Carter! You're a Gopher legend!

Will always be a Carter Coughlin fan. We keep this thing building and we're looking back on his committing to the Gophers and helping recruit The Empire Class as the hinge on which we turned.
Totally agree with this
