I can live with at least 8 wins every year. That would be turning the corner and putting us where other good programs are. We would need to have a coupld 10 win seasons sprinkled in there. Let's remember that there has been one 10 win season in how many years? It was 2003 when we finished 5-3 in the Big Ten and had a very favorable schedule by not playing Purdue and OSU who finished ahead of us. Winning 8+ every year is where perennial top 25 programs are.
I think this team can go 9-4 next year. We need to hold down fort at home 6-7 wins, win 1-2 on the road and win a Bowl game.
