Can Drake throw the ball 40 yards in the air?

I think it’s a liiiiitle early to crown him due to competition but yeah, these first couple games are encouraging. His arm strength was never in question; his high school senior reel had many, many effortless 50-60 air yard throws . I think what’s exciting to me is his escapability, demeanor, processing. Remains to be seen versus better teams if he can continue to be smart with the ball, be as accurate or display the touch Tanner had or be as cerebral as Brosmer but I think we’re all pretty damn optimistic right now he may have the total package.

From what I’m reading:
Only concern with Drake Lindsey is he leaves after his redshirt sophomore year to be the number one pick.

His grandpa could finance the entire athletic department.

Morgan only threw slants.

That is a pretty accurate summary.

Hundreds of millions? Not every person in Arkansas is a Walmart heir.

Im not saying you're wrong, but what is your source?
He's in real estate and runs the family business that has been around for over 50 years, with over 200 associates. He flies privately to come watch practices.

I think it’s reasonable to be optimistic that he’ll stick around as long as he continues to progress as a QB. If he’s playing like an early round draft pick like people hope he will, there’s no reason to believe that he’ll want to mess around with what’s working by transferring to a new situation. I also think that if he’s playing at that level, the Gophers have a good chance to be competing for a spot in the playoffs.

I think that making sure he has weapons supporting him will be more of a factor than NIL money, given his family’s financial situation. He will have more than enough chances to shine on a national stage given the competition level the Gophers regularly play at.

An article in Arkansas Business put's Jim Lindsey's net worth at $47 million. It's behind a paywall but enough shows to see the numbers.

With all the stuff he owns, I’m guessing it’s much higher than that.

Lindsey is privately coached by Quincy Avery. Would imagine his opinion will matter going forward.
