Caleb Bak not returning to the Gophers

I am no expert, but Campion seemed to regress from his play in 2012.

He did. He had a sophmore slump. Overthinking. Trying to hard. His position grade reflected it. That he got AC from B1G media and other media is another example of media incompetence. Still plenty of upside though. Hopefully he recovers in 2014. He is a good kid.

Not according to the team's internal grading or awards handed out by the conference and its coaches. And if he was the best, why would Pirsig beat him out?

I'd tend to agree, so how is it that he was the best O-lineman last year if he was playing out of position? He'll be a 1st round draft pick playing at guard?

Randall McDaniel played at 275-280 and was one of the best OL in the history of the NFL. Size isn't everything.

Here are your top 3 OL performers over the past 2 seasons(based on position grades): Bak, Epping, Christenson. Size matters only to the extent it improves execution. Executon is the bottom line. And Bak could execute with the best of them.

got to put your brain first. good for him.
