open September 5 at Utah (#16 in final poll, big rival)
host September 12 Sparty
go to ASU September 19..ASU #32 in final poll, Herm Edwards seems to have them on good path...likely night game?
Gophers get 8 days to prep for BYU with Iowa game on Friday night at home...BYU has to travel cross-country after being on road in Arizona on previous Saturday
BYU also will be looking ahead to their next week's game vs rival Utah State
 


So BYU is likely 0-3 or 1-2 heading into our match-up, will be interesting to see how they hold up through 3 tough games.
 


I have a lot of respect for BYU. For years, it seems as though they fielded competitive Power-5-like teams but have fallen off lately. I still have too much respect to take them lightly though, as I'm guessing they are still a bunch of 30 year old hard hitting white dudes.

The more progressive ones drink caffeine and the less so not.
