Priority #1, 2 and 3: get healthy.

After that, what's realistic in making changes, improvements between now and Michigan?

Realistic objectives?

Not lose by 20 points
Get healthy
Learn how to block
Learn how to rush the passer

Take some nice quality pictures of the Jug, because we won't see it again for a while.

I would be interested in seeing these polls on Gopherhole:
MN over/under offensive yards - 175
MN points scored by offense o/u - 3
Does MN offense have a drive over 60 yards?

I hope the way the Walmart Wolverines got "Gophered" today is the start of a downward spiral that they can't recover from.

Top priority obviously is rest and get healthy.

Offense - Figure out how to score without relying on the run game because Michigan looks unreal against the run.

Defense - Burn the film from this game and never ever speak of it again. Figure out how to get back to being the strong unit they have been up until this point. We are going to need them.

Special Teams - Make sure nothing happens to Mortell that would keep him from playing against Michigan.

Not embarrass ourselves against Michigan in front of all the recruits that are visiting.

Get a few more guys injured so we can here Jerry talk about how decimated we are.

Get excuses ready about the o-line health. Ask Gary Patterson how to successfully change out an offensive staff.

Unfortunately the only jugs the Gophers will see this year are at the Vu.

1. Heal up.
2. Don't sustain any more injuries in practice or during game warmups.
3. Get our our starters back.
4. Give players lots of quality reps using John Gagliardi's no contact drills.
5. Figure out what size Depends diaper pants the coaches will need. Include backup pants. They will need them for the remaining sh#tty schedule.

Get healthy, develop a game plan to beat Michigan, execute that game plan and beat Michigan.

1. Look for moral victories.
2. Give freshmen QB starts rest of year.
3. Spend more time recruiting defensive line, because other than Richardson, they suck.
4. Start designing an innovative offense to use next year.
5. Try each player in multiple places to see where they can be best used.
6. Get ready for the secondary graduation by giving plenty of time to new kids.
7. Teach your cb's to turn their head.
8. Try finding another 2 qb's in recruiting, we need all the options we can get.
9. Get the excuse train ready for the Michigan blowout.
10. Go back and teach some fundamentals the team is missing (gap control and blocking).

I like your suggestions best (although I'm not 100% on board with all of them). I look at these next two games as virtually unwinnable. Pull whatever redshirts you have from players who might be ready to make a contribution. Rotate players frequently to give additional players the opportunities and to give the primary contributors some relief from pressure and exhaustion. Be willing to experiment and take chances with play calling. You have nothing to lose in these next two games. Don't start Croft over Leidner but get Croft in there more often to get him more accustomed to high quality competition and to give Mitch a break.

Iowa at Kinnick might be close to unwinnable, too, but I still believe the Gophers have a shot at winning both of the last two games. Make the next two or three games a developmental ground for those last two.
