Bye Week Schedule Out

Man the two bye weeks can suck for games. CBS gets Purdue.

Not sure big ten contract but in the old CBS SEC contract everyone was guaranteed one CBS game per year. Don’t think that’s true anymore.

Agree that the schedule isn’t good enough.
I think big ten expands by 2 or 6 teams before 2028.

I think they don’t do the middle of that. 20 and 24 are easy to schedule numbers.
21, 22, 23 suck for scheduling.

I think there are some games worth watching there: UCLA v. Washington, Nebraska v. USC, Rutgers v. Maryland, and maybe even Mich St v. Illinois.

I was travelling during the last bye week and enjoyed watching the games in my hotel room that Saturday (especially the Mich State upset of Iowa). Watching the other teams play is a lot less intense since I don't care as much about the outcome. I'm also relaxed enough to leave a game for a bit and come back later since I don't care so much if I miss something.

There will be two bye weeks again next year. Back to one in 2026. CFB is year to year with all the expansion going on.
