This thread can be moved to the Week 11 Other Games thread when it comes up but took a peak at the forecast in I-O-W-A City for the 2:30 matchup between the Hawks and the Ducks.

This will be a far cry from Eugene weather on a typical mid-fall afternoon. Hopefully these ducks will be paddling more than usual for this one.

As for the bye week lookahead, we get the Ducks after a bye and then on a short week for them. Wouldn't be bad for the Gophers if the Hawks bruised Oregon both physically and mentally in a nasty weather match-up.

I usually don't say this but here goes...Go Hawks! Ski U Mah.

If someone just happened to fill Kinnick's field with concrete and they had to all play on it, that would be a shame ... just say'n.

Will the moon phase favor the Ducks at least?
Waning gibbous on Saturday (full Beaver moon was last night) and rising around 7:30 PM, so after the game.

Guessing since beavers are aquatic animals this probably favors ducks more than hawks...

P.S. There is a Kurt Vonnegut reference here that I did not touch.

Actually, this should be a good game to watch. Iowa and Oregon have not played each other since like 1994.

I remember when biorythmns guaranteed a Super Bowl victory for the Vikings and Fran Tarkenton over the Raiders.

The dead lift and clean & jerk are fine and all, but my favorite weightlifting lift is the snatch.
Jerk and clean seems more logical, but I'm not a lifter so what do I know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
