Iverson very impressive tonight.

Three obvious issues: Fouls, turnovers, free throws. Hopefully we'll fix them by the half.

That being said, it's so nice to have a game to watch that is against a relevant team.

Unfortunately, some of us have to work on Thanksgiving
but at least it's quiet tonight.

As long as they can keep out of foul trouble!!! That will be key but the way Iverson is
playing, I would let him ride out there until he gets tired!!

HA -- I imagine that is a full time job 7 days a week 365 days a year!
Actually, I am in a flight control center with not too many flights and just
winding down a pretty quiet travel day.
 

Iverson also has 2 blocks to go with that double double.

Fouls though could come back to haunt us if we aren't careful like I was saying before the game, Williams and DJ are spark plugs but they are guys that need flow of the game too. Also the more Cobbs I see the less I complain about who is in, he just knows how to get the ball into the bigs, plain and simple.
 




The bench really carried this team, the starters combined for 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. They're gonna need to step it up a little bit, and stay out of foul trouble, obviously.

Lots of defense.

Butler does a nice job defending on the perimeter, especially against on ball screens. We are getting a lotting offensive rebounds though, and as you all have noted Colton is really killing them.

We have also played solid D, though our strength has been swallowing up their drivers with the size of Colton and Ralph.
 

You never know who will step it up in a game like this but this is a
game that separates the men from the boys.

It's really nice to see Cobbs and Iverson add so much, but I would
like to see Sampson start picking it up a bit!

I've worked many a holiday - hope you get time with family and friends later
 

55% from the FT line -- that's not going to cut it. 8 turnovers--protect the ball LW and Devoe! This game is there for the taking.

Cobbs is fine, a freshman, but fine. Seems to have some difficulty getting the offense going. Joseph is 1-6, 0-4 from 3 tonight, less than 30% from the field on the year. Hoff is 1-3 tonight, has an assist, doesn't have a single turnover all year, and has consistently been entering the ball into the post.

There is a reason Tubby is keeping him on the floor, despite what you wrote earlier.
