Is Burrito Loco still open? My friends and I went there last year after the USC win, and I'm going to the Nebraska game this Friday, and I was hoping to do a pregame stop in there before the game. We are coming from way out of town, and the internet makes it seem like it is not functioning anymore.

I went there about a year ago. Yeesh that place has fallen on hard times

Nah, it's boarded up and has been closed for at least 6 months. Food quality had tanked. We quit going to this spot.

I think my favorite burrito in Minneapolis is Pineda. It's not too far of a drive if you want pick one up on your way to tailgating.

Prob gonna be ripped down to build more luxury student apartments.

I tried to go there this weekend and it was boarded up. To make matters worse even Tony's wasn't open post-game to grab a bite :/

I've seen new apartment buildings called "Luxury" that aren't. Word has been destroyed.

Luxury is a word they use to get 4+ college students to share an apartment and when you tally up the rent each is paying it's 2x what they could get for the same place from a single person, couple, or family.

like so many great spots, gone

Bring back the big10 subs!

Annie's parlor is gone as well

I saw a product advertised as "new and improved".

Which one is it? If it's new, how can it be improved, if it's improved how can it be new?

What's the deal with that?
NEW as in we swapped out the original ingredients for cheaper substitutes, AND IMPROVED our bottom line.

Bummer to hear things have gone badly for Burrito Loco, one of my favorite spots during my years on campus.

Hardly recognize the campus these days, so many new apartments......
