The radio announcers said Brunson is day to day following the concussion resulting from the shot to her chin during the Rutgers game. No news on Scalia.

Problem is, Kylie Miller (for instance) in Volleyball was day to day for over a month.

Was the shot to the chin the one from the intentional elbow? Or from the floor hitting the chin on the (maybe intentional) trip?

Yes, look at what concussions did to Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau (season ruining and career altering). Brunson took two hits in this game, but seems like she has hit the floor quite hard in earlier games. The hits can add up. Hopefully not the case for her.

Both probably contributed but the intentional elbow took the bigger toll.
