Brosmer

With what he did this year stabilizing the quarterback position that was a complete shit show in 23 we may never have a more impactful transfer.
I think you actually hit it. Took a stud in the transfer portal that hopefully allows Lindsey to not be overpressured too early and allows for a sustainable line.

I still worry that turning to Lindsey as a rs Freshman is too early, but we’ll find out if a transfer isn’t brought in.

He made a couple throws where he threaded the needle that were really impressive. It's been a treat watching him toss TDs these last several wins.
Yup and those throws along the sidelines where he drops the ball into the receivers arms, are as a good touch throw as you’ll see in college.

Brosmer has been good. I’ll still argue he’s not an all time great, but he was a great one year get for PJ.

I don't know if he gets drafted, but he'll likely make a practice squad in the NFL next year.

Max Brosmer’s stats put him at 2,617 yards and 17 TDs in passing. That puts him at No. 7 on the single season passing Top 10, passing Cory Sauter’s 1995 year with 2,600 yards.

His 17 touchdown passes now have his season so far tied with Asad Abdul-Khaliq’s 2003 campaign.

Here’s the single season leaders in front of Brosmer for yards:
  1. Tanner Morgan, 2019, 3,253
  2. Adam Weber, 2007, 2,895
  3. Bryan Cupito, 2006, 2,819
  4. Adam Weber, 2008, 2,761
  5. Mitch Leidner, 2015, 2,701
  6. Adam Weber, 2010, 2,679
Then for touchdown passes:
  1. Tanner Morgan, 2019, 30
  2. Adam Weber, 2007, 24
  3. Bryan Cupito, 2006, 22
  4. Mike Hohensee, 1981, and Adam Weber, 2010, 20
  5. Asad Abdul-Khaliq, 2002, and Bryan Cupito, 2005, 19
  6. Cory Sauter, 1995, 18
Assuming he does in fact take most of the snaps in the bowl game he should definitely move up the yardage list and probably the TD one as well.

His only shortcoming to me was he had a learning curve that should have been fully expected. I bought into his New Hampshire stats as being ready for the B1G+ show but it took him those first games to adapt to the speed of D1 play. The fact that he not only adapted but excelled when the O Line held up means my expectations were out of line and not his performance.

One more game to go. Hoping it's one where he shines like today.
