It feels like every S and C coach instantly becomes the best coach in the country. It’s amazing, really.

Unless they are running an intricate anabolic steroid program, like head coaches they are probably vastly overpaid for their relative competence vs their FCS, D2-D3 and probably many high school staff but they are lucky enough and charismatic enough to be part of an enormously successful TV entertainment enterprise and most of their salary derives from that.

I doubt Purdue misses a beat after the next hire.
