I only saw the second half. In response to above, I didn't see the WRs getting a lot of separation. Kaliakmanis was also really tentative, so the passing game is a mess right now. That's going to have to improve (understatement).
 


Everyone blames the coordinators when they lose the players have to play
 


Not feeding Taylor.
Throwing deep with Kramer in first down.
Throwing twice on first and goal from the five (leading to our first Fg).

I mean…. Is he not watching the game and just spinning a wheel to call plays?

Bringing guys with you from WMU is not an external hire. Won’t argue about that, define whatever you want.
 

Play calling was inconsistent and total detached from what was working in the game. Easily Kaliakmanis’ worst game, hope he doesn’t become a Mertz that just flounders and loses in his own head.

He hired those guys to WMU didn’t he? So even if you consider Ciarocca an internal hire when he went from WMU to Mn wouldn’t he have been an external hire when he went from Delaware to WMU?
 

I specified as Gophers head coach. Those are his two externals, and both were terrible.

Not going to include initial hires at WMU, and not going to argue about that.
