With some CONSISTENCY. Meaning have a few years in a row where Minnesota goes 3-1 against Wisconsin Nebraska Iowa and Northwestern. Along with not losing to Illinois or Purdue.

whats discouraging is what Wisconsin did with freshmen OL to us. we will need a lot of help to improve on both lines to give the other players a chance to show improvment

You DO understand the Gophers were rolling with DL in that game that averaged about 268lbs, yes? Sam Renner and company?

It's absolutely amazing that Wisky didn't run for over 500 yards

We saw what Iowa did last year with that schedule..... monkey see monkey do!

Iowa's success this year had way more to do with their miraculous luck in staying healthy than it did with a favorable schedule.

If the Gophers stay anywhere near that healthy next year, it will be a special season

I agree. 3 - 3 with that schedule would be very respectable. It's not inconceivable that they lose every one of those games.

It is not inconceivable they could win every one also.

Badgers will be very good next year. Going to be a very fun season.

Based on what? The Badgers were a mediocre team that had a soft schedule to allow them to get to 9 wins this season. Combo that with losing quite a few SR starters, I think Wisconsin will struggle next year.

It's possible I suppose with the schedule set up the way it is (Iowa and Becky have difficult cross overs), but I'm pretty skeptical after the exact same article was written last offseason
