Brewster is my last hope

I am so glad you could figure out a playbook and I am not talking about your junior high playbook either!! I am sure you are "smart enough" after all you are hiding behind your computer!!

Hiding behind a computer...as opposed to what you...yeah you're out in the open aren't ya! Man alive where'd we find these turds?

Bankonit...I suppose the $^@(#&# is replacing profanity...cute. Now, as for your knowledge of football...well, I will place you in a box.

Pryor, too easy, but you brought it up. Let's see his freshmen year on a better team and he actually had a meaningful impact. If the experts, as you claim, think that Gray is better then once again you support, thru your raging IQ, my earlier point about us needing a Coach who can develop talent.

Now as for your idiotic point that keeping freshman and sophmores on the sidelines does not mean that the guys playing are more talented. Well I sure as hell hope that we are fielding the best team every game...what your saying is that Brewster and all the coaches who get it are keeping younger better players on the sidelines for what purpose? All the real good programs only let the real talent practice...

Geez...who wipes the drool off of your chin?

I don't know....maybe so a 150lb Michael Carter can put some meat on his bones to make it through a Big Ten season? Or maybe so a freshman QB can learn on the sideline from watching and practicing and also have time to mature and get acclimated to College and the change of the speed of the game? There is some benefit to a program and to the athlete in learning and earning their playing time rather than having it handed to them and showing respect to the older players who have worked their tails off for the program. Such a complete Douch.

That would be *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#bag, notice the e. As for your freshman QB; did you like the part where I mentioned that Pryor actually played meaningfully as a freshman? If you believe as I do that Gray did belong on the sideline this season, then why not redshirt him. That's the process thru which he can mature and get aclimated to the system and not lose a year of eligbilty. But you're such a smarty that you knew that.

My problem is that I engaged such a twit as you...

Let us go where the omens of the Gods and the crimes of our enemies summon us! THE DIE IS NOW CAST!

Your blind hatred for Coach Brewster and the Gopher Program along with your limited understanding of what it takes to build a championship team makes you completely unreasonable. I love how you joined and have posted 10 posts on how you hate the Gophers. Are you Fat Pat?

Some people are so daft the ignore feature is the only cure.

Your blind love keeps you from seeing the obvious.

You were the one who said Gray in not smart enough to handle the playbook. Not me. You must have looked in the mirror when you called us turds.

And what would that obvious be? That Brewster has done a ton for this program in terms of making us a contender? Even if his contract is not renewed, we owe a great deal to him for upgrading the talent level and our national reputation, nationally people think this Gopher program is headed up in a hurry

Given that your location is anywhere that you can here 'cco, I figured you'd heard Sid comment on the reason that Gray isn't playing is that he is not even close to being able to run the offense. To paraphrase, Sid said that if the coaching staff thought he was ready he'd be playing. Additionally, kudos on the looking in the mirror riff...haven't heard that since gradeschool. Good one!

Blind hatred??? Geez, it's amazing how pathetic some members of the serial homer group are. I don't hate Brewster...it's just that dips like you think he's so awesome and are basing that on what? It's alright for you to claim that anyone that doesn't think Brewster is the greatest ever are idiots and don't know what it takes to build a winning program etc. etc., but you...you know what it takes...Odd that Notre Dame didn't give you a call...The jury is still out on Brewster, I believe that based on his track record we aren't going to see much more from him. Honestly, I hope that I am wrong. Unfortunately, I don't think that I will be...the best part is that as a season ticket holder I get to see it unfold every game.

The only blindness is yours...you make comments about comparing Gray to Pryor...I'm sorry but at this point that's stupid. The most prominent thing they have in common is that they both go to schools in the Big Ten. And as I type this I just wish that all the losers who think they know how good Brewster is would base that on something he's actually accomplished on the field. Like maybe a rivalry game victory, but nooo.....he gets a pass on mediocrity because he talks like a con artist at the State Fair schilling the BIG TEN TONIC for all you zombies. Then you call people haters...no wonder people from Iowa and Wisconsin laugh at Gopher Football. People like you enable a culture of losing and make it acceptable. When Wisconsin fans taunt Gopher fans in our stadium because are coaches coach like idiots and can't figure it that it's gonna go to John Clay for 8yds how many times...I think of all the morons who claim that Brew is really on to something. When I see multiple 1st and goal situations and we invent no ways to not score, I think of all the know it alls that claim we should send a message of support and given Brew an extension. When I see a team that lacks discipline and gets penalized for dumb things repeatedly I recall how lucky I am to Brew as a recruiter.

Awaiting your reply, which will consist of $^$%^^ you hate the gophers...as predictable as a Gopher penalty!

This guy's right. Each year if we don't win the BCS title game, fire the Coach!!!!

Trade Brewster for another guy to "rebuild". That's the ticket! Rebuild every three years so that we never get anywhere big - it always works. See, e.g, Iowa State, Rutgers, Vanderbilt, Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, etc.

And by the way, the people on this board are not gaga over Brewster. I don't know where you'd get that misinformation from. But they realize that being unsupportive of your coach will not bring success; unlike yourself, who doesn't understand the building of a program or the difference between upperclassmen and freshmen/sophomores. (Perhaps Mason was a complete moron for not playing Triplett and Campbell in 2006?!!?!?!?!?!?) Furthermore, your blindness to the fact that Brewster's recruits did finally start to contribute in significant roles this season exemplifies your inability to logically analyze the situation.

Brewster may or may not be the answer for the Golden Gophers. But rare is the coach that turns a program around from below average to top contender within 3 years time. Your lack of understanding on this may be the biggest fault of very many in your poor analysis.

You talk as if blind love and support of your football team is somehow ignorant, that we don't share the same concerns you have or that we are too stupid to see them. That makes me laugh so hard I sh$^$%^^it myself. And don't try to explain a difference between coach and team, there is none. By bashing Brewster like the media and fans have it affects our football team, as evidence in our recent decommitments. Do i think Brew should be given a blank check and should not have any goals that need to be met to keep his job? no, I but I will try and support Brew as long as he is the Head Coach of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers. I wear my "ignorant homer badge" with honor as there seems to be so few of us left. And then you use your status as season ticket holder to somehow prove yourself more knowledgeable than the rest of us? I'm sure you were one of the punanny's who booed their own team eehh? The only reason we may never reach the top is because of jackbag ninkems such as yourself that confuse unwavering support of a team with ignorance and feel the need to bash the coach just in case Brew does end up leaving you can say I told you so. You are taking the safe way out.

This was such a nice thread til it turned into another bitchfest. You should go back and read the first post again!
