Since it has become obvious Brew is in over his head coaching, I wondered about some other coaches who proved they had little to no clue as to what they were doing. Two off the top of my head were:
1) Rich Kotite with the Jets (4-28 in the mid 90's) and
2) Marty Morningwheg - best known for CHOOSING to kick off in OT to 'play the wind'... Nuff said.

Obviously these 2 pillars of coaching acumen hardly stand alone in the annals of doggy-doo football.

Do you guys have any other suggestions?

To be fair - Morningwheg was a full game better than The Rising Head of Rich Kotite over his career (5-27). Let's give credit where credit is due. And don't forget Rod Marinelli (10-38). While he was infinitely more likeable and respected than Morningwheg, he had the same ultimate results.

And Brewster, while no Bo Schembechler, at least took us to two lame-0 bowls. Moron-wheg and Kotite never even got a whiff of mediocrity.

I'd liken Brew's tenure with the Gophers more like Wannestedt's with the Bears. 41-57 record with Chicago, and one post-season appearance, and whole lotta people wondering if he could actually coach.
